Abstract:
We report the growth of high-quality lead-free molecular 1D perovskite [(CH3)3NH]MnCl32H2O single crystal with size aslarge as 5 x 20 x 2 mm3 and demonstrate its potential for efficient X-ray detection. The 1D [(CH3)3NH]MnCl3·2H2O single crystal can be achieved from aqueous solution at room temperature using seed crystallization method. The crystal packing, optical properties,
band nature, charge transport properties and optoelectronic application as efficient X-ray detection of the high-quality crystal are systemically studied. Due to its superior charge mobility and lifetime product (6.77x10-3 cm2 V-1), the crystal device delivers a high sensitivity of 295 mC Gyair-1 cm-2 at 50 V and a low detection limit (0.90 Gyair s-1 at 50 V).
